Best Post-Production Studios in Atlanta (2026)
8 Atlanta post-production studios handling edit, colour, sound and delivery in 2026, from national post house offices to owner-run facilities

Introduction
Atlanta has eight post-production studios worth shortlisting in 2026 for projects that need editorial, colour, sound and delivery from one company. Some are the Atlanta offices of national post houses that serve Georgia's film and TV productions, and others are local facilities that have finished commercials, network series and corporate work for decades.
The local post community is organising around itself. Moonshine Post launched Post Atlanta in 2026, with a two-day conference at the Plaza Theatre on 26 and 27 September. Some national names have pulled back at the same time: Light Iron now lists only its Hollywood facility after its staff bought the company from Panavision in May 2026, and Pixelogic lists no Atlanta office. Several of the studios below also offer dailies, which matters to productions shooting at Georgia's stages.
Every studio here showed an Atlanta base on a page we checked. Colour, VFX and sound specialists have their own Atlanta lists, so this one sticks to companies that cover several stages of post under one roof. It is shorter than our larger-city lists because several candidates could not be confirmed, and it runs in no fixed order of merit.
The best post-production studios in Atlanta
1. Moonshine Post
Founder-owned · Glenwood Park · moonshinepost.com
Moonshine Post is a full-service post house for film, television and advertising, on the Beltline in Glenwood Park. Founder Drew Sawyer runs it with partners John Petersen, the senior colourist, and general manager Hannah Rockette. Its services run from dailies and offline and online editorial through colour and DI to ADR, sound design and mixing in 5.1 and Dolby Atmos, with mastering and deliverables at the end. Its site names Crafty Apes as its VFX partner.
Credits include the feature "IDIOTS" and the documentary "Trinity: The Story of The LOX", and the site names Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Paramount, Sony and Warner Bros. among its clients. Moonshine also rents cutting rooms, and it is building out the facility with a generator and a data centre. In 2026 it launched Post Atlanta, with a September conference at the Plaza Theatre.
2. Company 3 Atlanta
Part of Company 3 · Buckhead · company3.com
Company 3's Atlanta office on Peachtree Road covers dailies, editorial and conform, digital transfer and standards conversion, picture finishing and colour, and sound. Company 3 is a brand of Company 3 / Method Inc., and the Atlanta office is led creatively by senior colourist Billy Gabor, who helped found its New York location in 1998.
The office works across advertising and long-form. LBB Online credits it on BBDO Atlanta's holiday campaign for The Home Depot, and Atlanta colourist Justin White has graded for Coca-Cola, Chick-fil-A and The Home Depot. Remote sessions are available through Company 3's virtual services, which helps when a director or agency is in another city.
3. Harbor
Harbor · Atlanta · harborpicturecompany.com
Harbor is a production and post-production company with studios in New York, Los Angeles, Hollywood, London, Chicago and Atlanta. Its services cover live action production, dailies, colour, sound, ADR, VFX, offline editorial and delivery, for features, episodic television, commercials and branded content.
The site describes Atlanta as an entertainment location, so it is aimed at film and TV productions rather than advertising. It does not give an Atlanta address or say which artists sit there, so ask which parts of a job would run in Atlanta and which in New York or Los Angeles.
4. Lemonaid Post
Founder-led · Atlanta · lemonaidpost.com
Lemonaid Post is a full-service post company for film, television and advertising, founded in 1999 by its president, editor Charles Isaiah Lemons. It offers editing, dailies and colour grading in DaVinci Resolve, audio mixing and mastering, visual effects and graphics, and master deliverables.
Its clients include BET, MTV, FOX, Lifetime, Tyler Perry Studios and Marvista Entertainment, and credits include "The Ms. Pat Show", "Average Joe" and "Christmas Unfiltered". It also rents Avid, Final Cut and Premiere workstations on NEXIS shared storage, which suits productions that want to bring their own editors and finish in the same building.
5. Bolt Entertainment
Founded 2013 · Midtown · boltworldwide.com
Bolt Entertainment began in 2013 as the TV and film division of bHEDGE Sports and Entertainment, and runs a post-production studio in Midtown by Piedmont Park. The facility has an executive screening room, story editing suites, 5.1 audio mixing and colour finishing, and the team also handles motion graphics, green screen and VFX work, and archiving.
Brand clients include the Atlanta Hawks, Dell Technologies, The Home Depot and Vital Farms. Because Bolt also produces, it suits brands that want one company to shoot and finish, though the suites can be booked for post alone.
6. ECG Productions
Founded 2007 · Cumberland · ecgprod.com
ECG Productions is a script-to-screen studio on Cobb Parkway whose post team covers editing, colour grading, audio design and mixing, restoration and delivery. It also produces 3D product animation and podcast and social edits, so a campaign's cutdowns can come from the same team as the hero film.
Its portfolio includes campaign work for Manchester City and Etihad and for Virgin Atlantic, and Resurgens Orthopaedics has used it for broadcast spots since 2018. It is a good fit for commercials and branded content that need a finished, delivery-ready master without several vendors.
7. ASV Productions
Independent · Midtown · asv.com
ASV Productions has made video in Atlanta for more than 35 years, from offices at Colony Square on Peachtree Street. It covers planning, production and post, with editing and colour in-house, for broadcast, advertising, non-profit, web and trade show work.
Credits shown on its site include commercial spots for Disney Channel and segments for "Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman". It suits organisations that want an established local team for both the shoot and the finish.
8. Pivotal EPS
Editorial facilities · Atlanta · pivotaleps.com
Pivotal EPS supplies editorial infrastructure to film and television, with hubs in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Toronto, London and New Zealand. It rents Avid and Premiere systems, post-production suites, screening rooms and on-set mobile editing systems, with technical staff on call around the clock.
It does not grade or mix, so it belongs on this list as the facility side of post: productions shooting in Georgia use companies like this to set up cutting rooms and keep several locations in sync. Pair it with a finishing house for colour, sound and deliverables.
What to look for in an Atlanta post-production studio
Start by asking what happens in Atlanta. Several national names run dailies, review sessions or one senior artist locally and connect to larger facilities in Los Angeles or New York. That can work well, but the bid should say which stages run in a Georgia room and which remotely.
Match the studio to the format. Episodic and feature work brings dailies, conform, HDR grading, Atmos mixes and long lists of platform deliverables, while commercials run to short schedules and agency approvals. Ask which delivery specs the studio has met in the last year and who signs off the QC.
Check how much is in-house. Some studios on this list edit, grade and mix under one roof, and others partner for VFX or rent editorial space to outside editors. Neither is a problem if the hand-offs are clear and one producer owns the schedule.
Finally, agree how media and notes will move. A single episode can produce terabytes of camera originals, several cuts and many rounds of notes from producers, network and agency. Settle where the masters live, how proxies and review links are shared, and who approves each version before the first session.
How Fabric helps post-production teams
Fabric gives a post team one workspace for media, project documents and client feedback, with AI search across all of it. Large files sit in Fabric's cloud drive, which streams them on demand so they take no local disk space, and heavy files open without a full download. Editors cutting from proxies can read more in what is a proxy workflow.
Uploaded interviews, dailies and screeners are transcribed automatically, so search can find a spoken line and jump to its timestamp. The same search works by meaning across EDLs, delivery specs, PDFs and notes, and connected Google Drive or Dropbox folders.
For tracking, any folder can become a kanban board whose cards are the files themselves, which suits reels or episodes moving from offline to online to delivery. Producers and clients can leave threaded comments through a shared link without signing up. Timestamped comments and drawing on video frames are listed as coming soon on the annotations page.
For delivery, a cut or a folder of deliverables can be published as a web page with password protection, and link analytics shows when each named recipient opened it and how long they spent with it.
Password protection and link analytics are included on Pro and Team plans. See plans for teams.
