Best Creative Agencies in Los Angeles (2026)

12 Los Angeles creative agencies doing standout work in 2026, from Hollywood independents to Westside network offices

Introduction

Los Angeles has one of the strongest creative agency scenes in the US, with independents in Hollywood, Culver City and Santa Monica working alongside offices owned by Stagwell, Havas and Innocean. The 12 agencies below were chosen for recent work, 2025 and 2026 recognition, and the strength of their client rosters.

The last year brought both consolidation and a run of independent wins. Omnicom completed its acquisition of IPG at the end of 2025 and began retiring DDB, FCB and MullenLowe. LA agencies made several of the most discussed Super Bowl LX spots in February 2026. In June, Special's LA office was named Independent Agency of the Year for Engagement at Cannes Lions, and in July Party Land took Gold for Small Agency of the Year in the West at the Ad Age Small Agency Awards.

Every agency here has an active office in the wider Los Angeles area in 2026. The list runs in no fixed order of merit, since the right choice depends on your brief, budget and how you like to work.

What to look for in a Los Angeles creative agency

Start with ownership, because it shapes everything else. Several of the largest LA shops belong to holding companies: 72andSunny and Anomaly to Stagwell, Battery to Havas and David&Goliath to Innocean. They bring scale, media links and production support. Independents such as Mother LA, Special and Party Land tend to give clients more senior attention and move faster on approvals, though they may lean on production partners for very large shoots.

Look for relevant category experience. Los Angeles agencies are strong in entertainment, gaming, sport and food, and some have built units around it, such as Omelet's Cheat Code for games. An agency that already knows how a studio release or a game launch works will need less onboarding.

Check who will work on your account, by name. LA agencies saw a fair amount of senior movement in 2025 and 2026. Ask how fees are set too: retainers, project fees and part-outcome models all work, provided the measure of success is agreed before the first brief.

Finally, look at how the agency handles the day-to-day. LA agencies produce a lot of film, and cuts, stills and decks move between agency, production company and client every week. Agencies with a clear review process, and a single place where clients can find the latest version, are easier to work with over a long relationship.

How Fabric helps creative agency teams

Fabric gives an agency one workspace for its files, client feedback and team knowledge, with AI search across all of it. Many of the agencies above run several large accounts at once, and the agency setup is built around that pattern: one space per client, with briefs, assets, decks and call notes kept together.

Large production files sit in Fabric's cloud drive, which streams files on demand so they take no local disk space. Editors and designers can open heavy files, including video, without waiting for a full download. Search works by meaning across documents, images and transcribed recordings, and audio and video transcription makes interviews and rough cuts searchable down to the timestamp. When a team needs references like a past campaign, similar search surfaces related work without a typed query.

For client delivery, any file or folder can be published as a web page and shared with password protection. Link analytics shows when each named recipient opened a link and how long they spent with it, which helps with pitch decks and review rounds. Clients can leave threaded comments through a shared link without creating an account. There is more on this approach in why agencies stop sending Google Drive links to clients.

On Team plans, self-writing docs can maintain a page for each client from meetings, Slack and the workspace itself, covering decisions, deliverables and open items. New account staff get the history without asking around.

Password protection and link analytics are included on Pro and Team plans, and self-writing docs on Team plans. See plans for teams.
