Create Wrike tasks, projects, folders, comments and time entries.
Powered by Zapier.
Wrike is work management software for planning projects, assigning tasks and tracking time across teams, with folders, Gantt charts and custom workflows. Turning plans into tasks and logging work is a daily job. This connection lets Fabric's assistant do that for you, in plain language.
Once Wrike is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can add work to Wrike from a simple request.
Create tasks. Create Task adds a task with its details. The action items from your meeting notes can become Wrike tasks in one request.
Organize work. Create Project and Create Folder set up structure for new work.
Comment and log time. Create Comment adds an update to a task, and Create Time Entry logs hours. API Request (Beta) reaches the Wrike API for anything else.
There is no dedicated action for looking tasks up, so the assistant works from the details you give it or uses API Request (Beta).
The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before creating tasks or logging time, unless you've told it not to for a particular task.
When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as turning the week's client requests into tasks. The connection also includes the events New Task and New Folder, which can start an automation.
Project managers turn a kickoff doc into tasks.
Agency owners set up a project and folders for a new client.
Consultants log time from their notes at the end of the day.
Product managers comment on a task with a decision from a meeting.
What does the Wrike connection do?
It lets Fabric's assistant create tasks, projects, folders, comments and time entries, and make other requests to the Wrike API.
Can I create Wrike tasks with AI?
Yes. Share your notes and the assistant creates the tasks, after you confirm.
Can it log time?
Yes. Create Time Entry logs hours on a task.
Can it update existing tasks?
Not with a dedicated action. API Request (Beta) can reach the Wrike API.
What happens when a task is created?
New Task is an event in the connection, and it can start an automation, such as posting it to Slack.
Does the assistant change Wrike on its own?
No. It acts on your instructions.
Is my data secure?
Everything in Fabric is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the connection acts on your account with your authorization. See the privacy and security guide.
Does Fabric work with other project tools?
Fabric is an AI workspace for your projects, ideas, and files.
Save anything – PDFs, images, links, notes, voice memos, videos – and search across all of it by meaning, not just keywords. Think visually on an infinite canvas, connect your tools like Gmail, Google Drive, Notion, and Figma, and work alongside a personal AI assistant that knows your work, remembers your context, and gets smarter the more you use it.
Available on web, iOS, Android, and desktop.
