What is Shortcut?
Shortcut, formerly Clubhouse, is project management for software teams, built around stories, epics, iterations and objectives. Writing up stories and checking what already exists is a constant part of planning. This connection lets Fabric's assistant handle it for you, in plain language.
What Fabric's assistant can do with Shortcut
Once Shortcut is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work with your stories from a simple request.
Search stories. Search Stories finds stories that match your query, so you can check whether a bug is already logged or see what is in progress for a feature.
Write stories. Create Story adds a story with its description and details, Create Story From Template uses one of your team's templates, and Find or Create a Story adds one only when it doesn't already exist. Notes from a planning session in Fabric can become stories in one request.
You stay in control
The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before creating stories, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Searching never changes anything.
When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as turning the week's customer feedback notes into draft stories.
