Create and find short links and QR codes in Bitly.
Powered by Zapier.
Bitly is a link management platform for shortening links, creating QR codes and tracking clicks, used by marketers and businesses to share branded links across campaigns. This connection lets Fabric's assistant create and find short links and QR codes, in plain language.
Once Bitly is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work with Bitly from a simple request.
Shorten links. Create Bitlink shortens a URL, and Find or Create Bitlink returns the existing short link if there is one. Ask for short links for every URL in a campaign plan in Fabric.
Find links. Find Bitlink looks up an existing short link.
Create QR codes. Create QR Code makes a QR code for a link, ready for print or slides.
The assistant works from your instructions. Finding links never changes anything.
When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule. The connection also includes the events New Bitlink, New Campaign, New Referring URL and New Referring Domain, which can start an automation.
Connecting Bitly also adds keyword search over its records from Fabric's main search.
Marketers create short links for every channel in a launch plan.
Content creators make QR codes for a video description or event.
Educators share short links and QR codes to class materials.
