What is Arize AX?

Arize AX is a platform for AI observability and evaluation, used by teams building LLM apps and agents to trace behavior, build datasets and run experiments that compare prompts and models. This connection lets Fabric's assistant work with your Arize projects, datasets and experiments, in plain language.

What Fabric's assistant can do with Arize AX

Once Arize AX is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work with Arize from a simple request.

Find projects and results. Find Project, Find Dataset, Find Experiment and Find Experiment Runs look things up, so you can ask how the latest experiment went and keep the results in Fabric next to your notes.

Set up evaluation. Create Project, Create Dataset and Create Experiment start new work, for example a dataset built from test cases you collected in Fabric.

You stay in control

The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before creating projects, datasets or experiments, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Finding things never changes anything.

When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as a weekly summary of experiment runs. The connection also includes the events New Project, New Dataset and New Experiment, which can start an automation.

Search Arize from Fabric

Connecting Arize AX also adds keyword search over its records from Fabric's main search.

How people use it

Developers check experiment runs after changing a prompt.

Researchers turn a set of test cases into a dataset.

Engineering teams share experiment results in a team doc.

Product managers review evaluation results before a launch.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Arize AX connection do?

It lets Fabric's assistant find and create projects, datasets and experiments and find experiment runs, and it adds keyword search over Arize in Fabric.

Can I check experiment results with AI?

Yes. Ask for an experiment's runs and the assistant returns them.

Can it create a dataset?

Yes. Create Dataset adds one from the examples you give it, after you confirm.

Can it start an experiment?

Yes. Create Experiment sets one up.

Can it read traces?

Not with a dedicated action. Traces are explored in Arize.

What happens when a new experiment is created?

New Experiment is an event in the connection, and it can start an automation, such as posting to your team.

Is my data secure?

Everything in Fabric is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the connection acts on your account with your authorization. See the privacy and security guide.

Does Fabric work with other AI and developer tools?

Yes. You can also connect Anthropic (Claude) and GitHub.

What is Fabric?

Fabric is an AI workspace for your projects, ideas, and files.

Save anything – PDFs, images, links, notes, voice memos, videos – and search across all of it by meaning, not just keywords. Think visually on an infinite canvas, connect your tools like Gmail, Google Drive, Notion, and Figma, and work alongside a personal AI assistant that knows your work, remembers your context, and gets smarter the more you use it.

Available on web, iOS, Android, and desktop.
