Why Fabric works with everything (and why that matters)

Most productivity tools make you choose what kind of stuff you can put in them. Notion is for documents and databases. Pocket is for articles you want to read later. Apple Notes is for, well, notes. Each tool has its lane, and you're supposed to stay in it.

Fabric doesn't work that way. You can put anything into it—and we mean anything.


The problem with tool silos

Here's what happens when every tool only handles one type of content: your brain ends up being the filing system.

Let's say you're working on a project about sustainable packaging.
