What is Zoho Books?

Zoho Books is online accounting software from Zoho for small businesses, covering invoicing, estimates, expenses, inventory items and bank reconciliation. Creating invoices and keeping customers current takes regular time. This connection lets Fabric's assistant handle it for you, in plain language.

What Fabric's assistant can do with Zoho Books

Once Zoho Books is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work in your books from a simple request.

Find invoices. Find Invoice looks up an invoice so you can check its status before following up with a customer.

Bill customers. Create Customer adds a customer, Create Estimate sends a quote, and Create Sales Invoice bills for the work. Details from a proposal in Fabric can become an estimate in one request.

Manage items. Create Item adds a product or service to your item list. API Request (Beta) reaches the Zoho Books API for anything else.

You stay in control

The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before creating invoices, estimates or customers, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Looking invoices up never changes anything.

When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as a monthly invoice for a retainer client. The connection also includes events, such as New Sales Invoice, New Estimate, New Expense, New Customer and New Item, which can start an automation.

Connecting Zoho Books also adds keyword search over your Zoho Books records from Fabric's main search.

No. It acts on your instructions.
