Check on call and trigger, acknowledge and resolve incidents in PagerDuty.
Powered by Zapier.
PagerDuty is an incident response platform that alerts the right on call engineer when something breaks, with escalation policies, schedules and incident tracking. This connection lets Fabric's assistant trigger, acknowledge and resolve incidents and check who is on call, in plain language.
Once PagerDuty is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work with PagerDuty from a simple request.
Check on call. Find User on Call shows who is on call for a schedule or service.
Trigger incidents. Add Trigger Event raises an alert on a service, which pages the on call engineer.
Acknowledge and resolve. Add Acknowledge Event and Add Resolve Event update an alert as work progresses. API Request (Beta) reaches the PagerDuty API for anything else.
The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before triggering an incident, since that pages people, and before resolving one, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Checking on call never changes anything.
When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as a weekly note of the on call rota. The connection also includes the event New or Updated Incident, which can start an automation.
Connecting PagerDuty also adds keyword search over its records from Fabric's main search.
Engineering teams check who is on call before escalating.
Support leads raise an incident from a customer report.
Developers resolve an alert once a fix is out.

Is my data secure?
Everything in Fabric is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the connection acts on your account with your authorization. See the privacy and security guide.
Does Fabric work with other engineering tools?
Fabric is an AI workspace for your projects, ideas, and files.
Save anything – PDFs, images, links, notes, voice memos, videos – and search across all of it by meaning, not just keywords. Think visually on an infinite canvas, connect your tools like Gmail, Google Drive, Notion, and Figma, and work alongside a personal AI assistant that knows your work, remembers your context, and gets smarter the more you use it.
