Declare incidents and check on call in incident.io.
Powered by Zapier.
incident.io is an incident management platform that runs incident response in Slack and Microsoft Teams, with on call scheduling, status pages and post incident reviews. This connection lets Fabric's assistant declare incidents and check who is on call, in plain language.
Once incident.io is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work with incident.io from a simple request.
Declare incidents. Create Incident opens an incident with a name, severity and summary.
Check on call. Find Users On-Call shows who is on call now, and Get Schedule returns an on call schedule.
Make API requests. API Request (Beta) reaches the incident.io API for anything else.
The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before declaring an incident, since that can page people, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Checking on call never changes anything.
When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as a Monday note of who is on call this week. The connection also includes the event New Incident, which can start an automation.
Connecting incident.io also adds keyword search over its records from Fabric's main search.
Engineering teams check who is on call before escalating.
Support leads declare an incident from a customer report.
Developers look up next week's rota.
