Run queries and add, update and delete rows in Google BigQuery.
Powered by Zapier.
Google BigQuery is Google Cloud's serverless data warehouse for storing and analyzing large datasets with SQL. Analysts and data teams run queries, load data and keep tables current. This connection lets Fabric's assistant query and update BigQuery, in plain language.
Once Google BigQuery is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work with your data from a simple request.
Run queries. Run a Query runs SQL, and the assistant can find a row or get rows from a completed job. Ask for last month's signups by country.
Add and update rows. Create Row and Create Rows add data, Update Row(s) changes it, and Find or Create Record avoids duplicates.
Load and delete data. Import Data loads data into a table, and Delete Rows removes rows. API Request (Beta) reaches the BigQuery API for anything else.
The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before updating or deleting rows or importing data, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Queries run on your Google Cloud project and are billed by Google.
When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as a weekly metrics query written to a note. The connection also includes events, such as New Row, Updated Row and New Job Completed, which can start an automation.
Connecting Google BigQuery also adds keyword search over its records from Fabric's main search.
Product managers ask a quick question of product data.
Data teams add a lookup row without opening the console.
Founders get a weekly metrics summary in Fabric.
Marketers pull campaign numbers for a report.
