Run ping, traceroute, DNS and HTTP tests with Globalping.
Powered by Zapier.
Globalping is a free network measurement platform from jsDelivr that runs ping, traceroute, DNS and HTTP tests from probes in many locations worldwide. Developers and network engineers use it to check how a site or service performs from different regions. This connection lets Fabric's assistant run those tests, in plain language.
Once Globalping is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can run network tests from a simple request.
Check reachability. Ping a Target measures latency and packet loss, and Traceroute a Target shows the network path.
Check DNS. DNS Resolve looks up records from different locations, useful after a DNS change.
Check HTTP. HTTP Request fetches a URL and shows the response, for example to confirm a site is up in Europe and Asia.
The assistant works from your instructions. Tests only measure, so running them never changes anything.
A Fabric AI job can run tests on a schedule, such as a daily check of your site from several regions, with the results saved to a note.
Developers check a site from several regions after a deploy.
Engineering teams confirm a DNS change has spread.
Network engineers run a traceroute while investigating slow responses.
What does the Globalping connection do?
It lets Fabric's assistant run ping, traceroute, DNS and HTTP tests from Globalping probes.
Can I check if my site is up with AI?
Yes. Ask the assistant and it runs an HTTP request from the locations you choose.
Can it check DNS propagation?
Yes. DNS Resolve looks up records from several places.
Can it run tests on a schedule?
Yes. A scheduled AI job can run them regularly.
Does running tests change anything?
No. Tests only measure.
Do I need a paid account?
Globalping offers free usage, with limits set by Globalping.
Is my data secure?
Everything in Fabric is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the connection acts on your account with your authorization. See the privacy and security guide.
Does Fabric work with other engineering tools?
Fabric is an AI workspace for your projects, ideas, and files.
Save anything – PDFs, images, links, notes, voice memos, videos – and search across all of it by meaning, not just keywords. Think visually on an infinite canvas, connect your tools like Gmail, Google Drive, Notion, and Figma, and work alongside a personal AI assistant that knows your work, remembers your context, and gets smarter the more you use it.
Available on web, iOS, Android, and desktop.
