What is Dovetail?
Dovetail is a customer insights platform where product and research teams store interviews, feedback and research data, then tag, analyze and share what they learn. Getting the raw material into Dovetail is the first step. This connection lets Fabric's assistant do that for you, in plain language.
What Fabric's assistant can do with Dovetail
Once Dovetail is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can add research to Dovetail from a simple request.
Add data and docs. Add Data to Project adds interview notes or feedback, and Add Doc to Project adds a document, for example a research summary written in Fabric.
Add data points. The assistant can add data points to a channel or a source, such as a piece of customer feedback.
Add contacts. Add Contact records a research participant or customer.
You stay in control
The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before adding data, unless you've told it not to for a particular task.
When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as sending the week's feedback to a channel. The connection also includes the events New Project and Updated Project, which can start an automation.
