Manage incidents, on call and status pages in Better Stack.
Powered by Zapier.
Better Stack is an observability platform with uptime monitoring, incident management, on call scheduling, logs and status pages. When something breaks, teams acknowledge the incident, keep stakeholders updated and resolve it. This connection lets Fabric's assistant help with that, in plain language.
Once Better Stack is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work with incidents and status pages from a simple request.
Handle incidents. Find Incident looks one up, and the assistant can create, acknowledge and resolve incidents and add comments.
Know who is on call. Find On-Call Contact shows who is on call right now.
Update your status page. It can create status page reports and maintenance windows, post updates to them and resolve reports, for example from an update you drafted in Fabric.
The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before posting to a public status page or resolving an incident, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Looking things up never changes anything.
When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as a weekly incident summary. The connection also includes the events New or Updated Incident, New Incident Comment and On-Call Contact Changed, which can start an automation.
Connecting Better Stack also adds keyword search over its records from Fabric's main search.
Engineering teams post a status page update during an outage.
On call engineers acknowledge an incident and add what they found.
Developers schedule a maintenance window before a release.
