What is Podium?

Podium is a customer communication platform for local businesses, combining text messaging, review collection, payments and marketing campaigns. Messaging customers, sending invoices and asking for reviews is the routine work. This connection lets Fabric's assistant help, in plain language.

What Fabric's assistant can do with Podium

Once Podium is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work with Podium from a simple request.

Message customers. Send Message sends a text to a customer, for example an appointment reminder.

Invoice customers. Create an Invoice sends a payment request, and the assistant can cancel or refund an invoice.

Send data to Podium. The assistant can process one event or a list of events through Podium's data feed, such as completed jobs that should get a review invite.

You stay in control

The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before sending messages, creating invoices, or issuing refunds, unless you've told it not to for a particular task.

When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule. The connection also includes events, such as New Review, New Paid Invoice and New Review Invite, which can start an automation.
