What is Firecrawl?

Firecrawl is a web data API that turns websites into clean markdown or structured data for AI, with scraping, crawling, site mapping, search and extraction. This connection lets Fabric's assistant collect web data with Firecrawl, in plain language.

What Fabric's assistant can do with Firecrawl

Once Firecrawl is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can gather web data from a simple request.

Scrape and crawl. /Scrape Page returns a page's content, /Crawl Website crawls a site, and /Map Data lists a site's URLs. Get Data From /Crawl returns the crawl results.

Extract structured data. /Extract Data pulls specific fields, such as prices or job titles, from pages, and Get Data From /Extract returns them.

Search. /Search Data searches the web and returns page content.

Run agents. Run Agent starts a Firecrawl agent for a multi step data task, Get Agent Status checks it, and Cancel Agent stops it.

You stay in control

The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before starting large crawls or agents that use your Firecrawl credits, unless you've told it not to for a particular task.

When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as a weekly scrape of a competitor's pricing page.

Search web data from Fabric

Connecting Firecrawl also adds keyword search over its records from Fabric's main search.
