What is Docusign?

Docusign is electronic signature and agreement software. Businesses use it to send contracts, offer letters and forms for signature and track them until they are complete. Preparing envelopes, chasing status and finding signed copies takes time. This connection lets Fabric's assistant handle that for you, in plain language.

What Fabric's assistant can do with Docusign

Once Docusign is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can send and track agreements from a simple request.

Send for signature. Send Envelope Using Template sends a document from one of your templates, and Send Envelope Using Document sends a document you provide. Create Signature Request and Create Draft Signature Request prepare a request, the second as a draft for you to review. Create Pre-Filled Webform Link creates a link to a pre-filled web form.

Track and retrieve. Find Envelope Info shows an envelope's status, Find Recipients for Envelope shows who has signed, and Find Form Data for Envelope and Find Custom Fields for Envelope read what was filled in. Find Envelope Documents, Find Documents List for Envelope and Download Envelope Document get the signed files. Ask whether the new hire has signed their offer and you get the answer without logging in.

Manage templates. Find Template, Find Template Documents, Update Template and Create Template From Document keep templates current.

Send in bulk. Create Bulk Send List, Add to Bulk Send List, Test Bulk Send Request and Bulk Send Envelope From Template send the same agreement to many people. Void Envelope cancels one that should not be signed.

Intelligent Agreement Management. For Docusign IAM plans, the connection also works with agreements, workspaces and workflows, including finding agreements, managing workspace documents and users, and starting, pausing or cancelling workflows. API Request (Beta) reaches the Docusign API for anything else.

You stay in control

The assistant works from your instructions. Before sending, voiding or bulk sending, it confirms with you, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Looking up envelopes never changes anything.

When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as a weekly list of envelopes waiting for signature. The connection also includes many events, such as Envelope Sent, Envelope Completed, Envelope Declined and Recipient Completed, which can start an automation.

Search your agreements from Fabric

Connecting Docusign also adds keyword search over your Docusign records from Fabric's main search.
