What is Chatwork?

Chatwork is a business chat app, widely used in Japan, that combines group chat, tasks, file sharing and video calls. Teams use rooms for projects and clients, and tasks inside those rooms to track who does what. This connection lets Fabric's assistant post, assign and set up rooms for you, in plain language.

What Fabric's assistant can do with Chatwork

Once Chatwork is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work in Chatwork from a simple request.

Post messages. Send Message posts to a room. Write an update, a meeting summary or a decision in Fabric and share it with the team where they already talk.

Assign tasks. Create Task creates a task in a room and assigns it, so the action items from your meeting notes land with the right people.

Set up rooms. Create Room creates a new room for a project or client.

You stay in control

The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before posting or assigning tasks, unless you've told it not to for a particular task.

When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as posting a Monday plan to the team room.
