What is Carbon Voice?

Carbon Voice is an asynchronous voice messaging app for teams, with voice and text conversations, direct messages, voice memos, AI summaries and action items. This connection lets Fabric's assistant send messages, create voice memos and track action items, in plain language.

What Fabric's assistant can do with Carbon Voice

Once Carbon Voice is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work in Carbon Voice from a simple request.

Send messages. Send Message to Conversation posts in a conversation, and Send Direct Message to User(s) messages people directly, for example a summary written in Fabric.

Create voice memos. Create Voice Memo adds a memo.

Track action items. Create Action Item and Update Action Item keep follow ups current.

Organize conversations. The assistant can add people to a conversation, add link attachments, create share links, remove labels, and run an AI prompt on a message.

You stay in control

The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before sending messages or adding people to conversations, unless you've told it not to for a particular task.

When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as a Monday update to the team. The connection also includes events, such as New Message Received, New Voice Memo Created and Action Item Status Changed, which can start an automation.
