What is Ashby?

Ashby is an all in one recruiting platform with an applicant tracking system, CRM, scheduling and analytics, used by fast growing companies. Recruiters spend much of the day finding candidates, moving them through stages and keeping notes. This connection lets Fabric's assistant handle that for you, in plain language.

What Fabric's assistant can do with Ashby

Once Ashby is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work in Ashby from a simple request.

Find candidates and jobs. Find Candidate, Find Job and Find Opening look things up, and the assistant can find where a candidate is in a job's process.

Add and update candidates. Create Candidate and Find or Create Candidate add people without duplicates, and Update Candidate keeps their details current. Create Candidate Note records feedback, for example from interview notes in Fabric.

Move candidates through the process. Consider Candidate for Job adds them to a role, and Change Job Consideration Stage moves them along.

Openings and reports. The assistant can create and update openings, and Generate Report on Ashby produces a report.

You stay in control

The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before moving candidates between stages or creating openings, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Looking things up never changes anything.

When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as a weekly pipeline summary. The connection also includes events, such as Candidate Applied, Application Changed Stage, Candidate Hired, Offer Created and Interview Schedule Created, which can start an automation.
