Fabric for documentary production agencies

Documentary filmmaking is research as much as production. Months of pre-production research generate interview transcripts, archival references, source documents, location notes, release forms, historical records, and expert correspondence. The volume of material that informs the edit is enormous, and the editor needs access to everything the director discovered during research, including things the director has since forgotten.

Fabric keeps months of research searchable. Interview transcripts are searchable by what was said via audio and video transcription. Source documents and archival references are findable by meaning. The edit room has the complete research record.

Footage streaming from the cloud

Infinite Drive is a cloud drive where stored files take zero local disk space. It streams footage on demand in real time, so editors open any clip instantly with no download wait and no external hard drives to carry between locations. Your full project library is accessible from any machine.

Search footage and references by meaning

AI search finds clips, references, and production materials by description. Audio and video transcription makes spoken content searchable with timestamps. Similar search finds visually related references across your library. See b-roll for footage management.

Client feedback attached to the work

Annotations let clients and stakeholders pin feedback to exact spots, draw on frames, and leave timestamped comments on video. Forward email feedback to email-to-note. Record calls with AI voice notes. See review and approval.

Canvas for pre-production and planning

The canvas supports storyboard layouts, shot planning, and reference boards with live YouTube embeds and real-time collaboration. See moodboards.

Project documentation that stays current

Self-writing docs produce client trackers and decision logs. Agents compile project summaries and flag deadlines.

Polished client sharing

Publish cuts, selects, and deliverables with password protection and link analytics. Track client engagement. Update the cut and the link stays current.
