What is Wave?

Wave is accounting and invoicing software for small businesses and freelancers. It handles invoices, customers, products and services, and bookkeeping. The routine jobs, raising invoices and recording sales, add up. This connection lets Fabric's assistant handle them for you, in plain language.

What Fabric's assistant can do with Wave

Once Wave is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can do everyday bookkeeping from a simple request.

Invoice customers. Create Invoice raises an invoice for a customer with the items and amounts you give it.

Record sales. Record Sale records a sale in your books, for example a payment taken in person.

Keep customers and products current. Find Customer, Find or Create Customer and Create Customer manage customers, and Create Product or Service and Find Sold Product or Service manage what you sell.

You stay in control

The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before creating invoices or recording sales, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Looking things up never changes anything.

When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as raising a monthly retainer invoice. The connection also includes the events New Invoice and New Customer, which can start an automation.

Search your records from Fabric

Connecting Wave also adds keyword search over your Wave records from Fabric's main search.

Can I create a Wave invoice with AI?

Yes. Give the assistant the customer, items and amounts, and Create Invoice raises it after you confirm.

Can it record a sale?

Can it send invoices?

There is no dedicated send action. Invoices are sent from Wave.

Will it create duplicate customers?

Find or Create Customer checks for an existing customer first.

Does the assistant change my books on its own?

No. It acts on your instructions.

Is my data secure?
