What is Resend?
Resend is an email API built for developers, used to send transactional and marketing email from your own domain, with contacts and segments for broadcasts. This connection lets Fabric's assistant send email and manage contacts and segments, in plain language.
What Fabric's assistant can do with Resend
Once Resend is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work with Resend from a simple request.
Send email. Send Email sends a message from your domain, for example a launch note drafted in Fabric.
Manage contacts. Create Contact adds a contact, and Retrieve Contact returns one.
Manage segments. The assistant can create and delete segments, and add or remove contacts from them.
You stay in control
The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before sending email or deleting segments, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Sends count toward your Resend plan.
A Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as adding the week's new sign ups to a segment.
