What is PDF.co?

PDF.co is a set of tools for working with PDFs and documents: converting, merging, splitting, filling, extracting data and reading barcodes. Businesses use it to automate document work that would otherwise be done by hand. This connection lets Fabric's assistant use those tools for you, in plain language.

What Fabric's assistant can do with PDF.co

Once PDF.co is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can process documents from a simple request.

Pull data out of documents. AI Invoice Parser reads invoices into structured data, Document Parser extracts fields using a template, PDF Find Table locates tables, Document Classifier sorts documents by type, and Get PDF Information returns a file's details. Search in PDF finds text inside a document.

Convert files. Anything to PDF Converter, PDF to Anything Converter and HTML to PDF Converter change formats, and Convert Scanned PDF to Searchable PDF makes scanned pages searchable.

Combine, split and compress. PDF Merger joins files, Split PDF Into Multiple Files, Split PDF Based on Text Search and Split PDF Based on Barcode Search break them up, PDF Page Tools rearranges pages, and Compress and Optimize PDF makes files smaller.

Edit and fill. PDF Filler fills forms, and Add Text to PDF, Add Image to PDF, Add Form Field to PDF and Add Barcode to PDF add content. You stay in control

The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before emailing files, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Processing counts against your PDF.co account's credits.

Search your documents from Fabric

Connecting PDF.co also adds keyword search over its records from Fabric's main search. Fabric also lets you share a PDF without allowing downloads.
