Check payments, find refunds, and create and send PayPal invoices.
Powered by Zapier.
PayPal is an online payments platform used to send and receive money, take card and PayPal payments, send invoices and run subscriptions. For freelancers and small businesses it is often where client payments land. Checking whether something was paid, finding a transaction or sending an invoice usually means logging in and searching. This connection lets Fabric's assistant do that for you, in plain language.
Once PayPal is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can look up activity and invoice clients from a simple request.
Find payments and orders. Search Captured Payment, Search Authorized Payment, Search Order and Search Refund look up transactions, so you can ask whether a client's payment came through or when a refund was issued without digging through your activity.
Invoice clients. Create Invoice drafts an invoice and Send Invoice sends it to the customer. Search Invoice finds existing invoices and their status, which makes it simple to see what is still unpaid. Create Payment creates a new payment in your account.
Check subscriptions and products. Search Billing Subscription, Search Plan and Search Product look up your recurring billing setup, so you can check a customer's subscription or what a plan costs.
The assistant works from your instructions. For anything that moves money or sends an invoice, it confirms with you before going ahead, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Searching never changes your account.
When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as a weekly list of unpaid invoices. The connection also includes events, such as New Invoice and webhook triggers for payments, refunds, failed payments and subscriptions, which can start an automation when activity happens in PayPal.
Connecting PayPal also adds keyword search over your PayPal records from Fabric's main search, so a transaction or invoice is findable alongside the rest of your library.
Freelancers create and send an invoice for finished work from the project notes in Fabric.
Solopreneurs check whether a client has paid before following up.
Small online sellers look up an order and its refund status when a customer emails.
Subscription businesses check a customer's billing subscription and plan before a support reply.
