What is Kintone?

Kintone is a no code platform for building business apps and databases, used by teams to manage processes such as sales tracking, requests, inventory and approvals, with records, comments and status workflows. This connection lets Fabric's assistant add and update records, in plain language.

What Fabric's assistant can do with Kintone

Once Kintone is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work in your Kintone apps from a simple request.

Add records. Create Record adds a record to an app, for example a request from an email or a lead from a meeting note in Fabric.

Update records. The assistant can update a record by its ID or by an update key field.

Move work along. Update Status moves a record through its process, such as from submitted to approved.

Comment. Add Comment leaves a note on a record for your team.

You stay in control

The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before updating records or changing their status, unless you've told it not to for a particular task.

When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule. The connection also includes the event New Record, which can start an automation.
