What is Ironclad?

Ironclad is a contract lifecycle management platform used by legal teams to create, negotiate, approve, sign and store contracts, with AI to review terms and track obligations. Launching contract workflows and keeping records current is the routine work. This connection lets Fabric's assistant help, in plain language.

What Fabric's assistant can do with Ironclad

Once Ironclad is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work in Ironclad from a simple request.

Launch workflows. Launch New Workflow starts a contract workflow, such as an NDA or order form, with the details you give it.

Track approvals. Find a Workflow looks one up, Get Workflow Approvals shows who still needs to approve, and Update Workflow Approval records an approval.

Update workflows. Update Workflow changes a workflow's details, and Create Workflow Comment adds a comment for the team.

Manage contract records. Find a Record, Create Record and Update Record keep your contract repository current, and Delete Record removes one.

You stay in control

The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before launching workflows, recording approvals or deleting records, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Looking things up never changes anything.

When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as a weekly list of workflows waiting on approval. The connection also includes the events New Workflow Event, New Approval Event and New Workflow Document Event, which can start an automation.
