What is Expensify?

Expensify is expense management software for receipts, expense reports, corporate cards, reimbursements and travel, used by businesses of all sizes. Creating and finding reports is much of the routine work. This connection lets Fabric's assistant handle it for you, in plain language.

What Fabric's assistant can do with Expensify

Once Expensify is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work with Expensify from a simple request.

Log expenses. Create Single Expense adds an expense, and Create Expense Report creates a report with your expenses, for example from trip notes in Fabric.

Find and export reports. Find Report looks one up, and Export Report to PDF produces a PDF copy. API Request (Beta) reaches the Expensify API for anything else.

You stay in control

The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before creating reports, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Finding reports never changes anything.

When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as a monthly export of approved reports. The connection also includes the event New Report, which can start an automation.

Connecting Expensify also adds keyword search over its records from Fabric's main search.
