What is Contentful?

Contentful is a headless content management system used by companies to manage structured content, such as articles, product pages and help docs, and deliver it to websites and apps. Editors create entries and assets, then publish them. This connection lets Fabric's assistant do that for you, in plain language.

What Fabric's assistant can do with Contentful

Once Contentful is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work in Contentful from a simple request.

Create and update entries. Create Entry adds content, for example a blog post drafted in Fabric, and Update Entry edits it. Find Entry looks one up.

Publish. Publish Entry and Publish Asset make content live.

Add assets. Create Asset adds an image or file to your media library.

You stay in control

The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before publishing anything, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Finding entries never changes anything.

When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule. The connection also includes the events New Entry, Updated Entry and Entry Published, which can start an automation.
