What is Constant Contact?

Constant Contact is an email marketing platform used by small businesses and nonprofits to send newsletters, promotions and event invitations to contact lists. Keeping those lists accurate, adding new people, tagging them and removing those who leave, is the routine work. This connection lets Fabric's assistant handle it for you, in plain language.

What Fabric's assistant can do with Constant Contact

Once Constant Contact is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can manage your contacts from a simple request.

Add and update contacts. Create Contact adds someone, Update Contact changes their details, and Find or Create Contact checks for an existing record first so you avoid duplicates. Sign up sheets, event lists and business cards from your notes in Fabric can go straight into Constant Contact.

Organize lists. Add Contact to List and Remove Contact From List manage list membership, and Tag Contact adds a tag for segmenting, such as an event or an interest.

Clean up. Delete Contact removes a contact you should no longer hold. API Request (Beta) reaches the Constant Contact API for anything else.

You stay in control

The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before deleting contacts or changing many at once, unless you've told it not to for a particular task.

When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as adding the week's event sign ups to your newsletter list. The connection also includes events, such as New Contact, New Unsubscriber, New Email Open and New List, which can start an automation.

Connecting Constant Contact also adds keyword search over your Constant Contact records from Fabric's main search.
