What is Cognito Forms?
Cognito Forms is an online form builder for registrations, orders, applications and surveys, with calculations, payments and document generation built in. Organizations use it to collect structured information and turn entries into documents. This connection lets Fabric's assistant read and manage entries for you, in plain language.
What Fabric's assistant can do with Cognito Forms
Once Cognito Forms is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work with your forms from a simple request.
Read entries. Get Form Entries lists a form's entries and Get Entry pulls one. Ask how many people registered this week or what an applicant answered, and you get the answer without exporting.
Get documents. Get Document retrieves a document generated from an entry, such as a receipt, certificate or filled application.
Manage entries. Create Entry adds an entry, for example from a phone registration, Update Entry corrects one, and Delete Entry removes it.
Open and close forms. Set Form Availability opens or closes a form, such as when registration fills up. API Request (Beta) reaches the Cognito Forms API for anything else.
You stay in control
The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before deleting entries or closing forms, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Reading entries never changes anything.
When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as a weekly summary of new entries. The connection also includes the events New Entry, Update Entry and Entry Deleted, which can start an automation.
Search your entries from Fabric
Connecting Cognito Forms also adds keyword search over your entries from Fabric's main search.
