What is beehiiv?

beehiiv is a newsletter platform for writers and media brands, with publishing, growth tools, paid subscriptions, a referral program and an ad network. Running a newsletter means managing subscribers, segments and automations, and keeping an eye on how posts perform. This connection lets Fabric's assistant handle that for you, in plain language.

What Fabric's assistant can do with beehiiv

Once beehiiv is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work with your publication from a simple request.

Understand performance. View Aggregate Post Stats, List All Posts and View a Post show how posts did, and List Poll Responses and View a Poll show what readers said. Ask how last month's issues performed and you get a summary.

Manage subscribers. Create a Subscriber, Update a Subscriber, Delete a Subscriber and View a Subscriber (Via Email) manage readers, and Add Tags to a Subscriber labels them. List All Subscribers and View Publications by Subscription Email look people up. Complimentary access tools show and grant free access to paid tiers.

Segment and automate. Create a Segment, Recalculate a Segment, Delete a Segment and List a Segment's Members manage segments, and Add a Subscriber to an Automation enrolls someone in a welcome or nurture flow. Newsletter list subscription actions manage which lists a subscriber is on.

Set up your publication. Custom field actions create, update and delete fields, and list actions show authors, automations, journeys, tiers, templates, publications and your referral program. Delete a Post removes a post, and Make a Custom API Call reaches the beehiiv API for anything else.

You stay in control

The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before deleting subscribers, posts or segments, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Reading stats and lists never changes anything.

When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as a monthly performance summary of your posts. The connection also includes events, such as New Subscriptions, User Unsubscribes, New Post Sent, New Subscription Upgrades and New Survey Responses, which can start an automation.

Search your publication from Fabric

Connecting beehiiv also adds keyword search over your beehiiv records from Fabric's main search.
