What is ActiveCampaign?

ActiveCampaign is an email marketing, marketing automation and CRM platform. Businesses use it to manage contacts and lists, run automations, send campaigns and track deals. Keeping contacts tagged, in the right lists and in the right automations is constant work, and so is keeping deals current. This connection lets Fabric's assistant handle it for you, in plain language.

What Fabric's assistant can do with ActiveCampaign

Once ActiveCampaign is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can manage contacts, automations and deals from a simple request.

Put contacts in the right place. Create or Update Contact adds or updates a contact, Add/Remove Tag From Contact segments them, and Subscribe or Unsubscribe Contact From List manages list membership. Add Existing Contact to Automation and Remove Contact From Automation move people in and out of your automations. Ask the assistant to tag everyone from last week's webinar and add them to the nurture automation, and it is done in one request.

Keep a record of conversations. Add Contact Note and Create or Update Contact Task log what happened and what comes next. Create Account, Update Account, Create or Update Account and Add Contact to Account keep company records in step.

Work your deals. Create Deal, Update Deal, Add Note to Deal, Create or Update Deal Task and Add Secondary Contact to Deal keep the pipeline current. Find Deal, Find Deals by Filter, Find Deals by Secondary Contact, Find Deal Owner and Find Deal Task answer questions about it.

Look people up. Find Contact, Find Account, Find Contact Task and Find User find the record you need before you act on it.

Run campaigns and messaging. Create Campaign sets up an email campaign, and Create Tracked Event records a custom event against a contact. For WhatsApp, Send a WhatsApp Template and Start a WhatsApp Messaging Flow for a Phone Number reach contacts there. Create or Update a Custom Object Record works with custom objects, and API Request (Beta) reaches the ActiveCampaign API for anything else.

You stay in control

The assistant works from your instructions. For anything that sends messages or changes many contacts at once, it confirms with you before going ahead, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Looking contacts and deals up never changes anything.

When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as a Monday summary of deals with no next task. The connection also includes events, such as New Contact, Contact Added to List, Tag Added or Removed From Contact, New Deal Added or Updated and campaign opens, clicks and unsubscribes, which can start an automation when something changes.

Search your contacts from Fabric

Connecting ActiveCampaign also adds keyword search over your ActiveCampaign records from Fabric's main search, so a contact or deal is findable alongside the rest of your library.

No. It acts on your instructions, and it confirms before sending messages or bulk changes, unless you've told it not to for a specific task.

Is my ActiveCampaign data secure?

Does this work through MCP or the API?

Fabric also exposes your library and connected tools to external AI through its MCP server and API. This connection is the built-in way for Fabric's own assistant to work with ActiveCampaign.
