What is NetSuite?

NetSuite is Oracle's cloud ERP for finance, accounting, inventory, orders, CRM and more, used by growing and mid sized companies. Finance and operations teams spend time finding records, creating transactions and keeping data in sync. This connection lets Fabric's assistant work with NetSuite records, in plain language.

What Fabric's assistant can do with NetSuite

Once NetSuite is connected, Fabric's AI assistant can work in NetSuite from a simple request.

Find records. Find Record and Find Records look up customers, vendors, transactions and other record types, including through saved searches and with line items. Run SuiteQL Query runs a query. Ask for open invoices for a customer.

Create and update records. The assistant can create, update, upsert and transform records, for example turn a sales order into an invoice, and delete records.

Bulk import. Bulk Import Records loads many records at once, and Get Bulk Import Status checks progress.

Files and notes. It can upload files to the File Cabinet, find files, attach or detach files on records, create folders and find case notes. API Request (Beta) reaches the NetSuite API for anything else.

You stay in control

The assistant works from your instructions, and it confirms with you before creating, transforming or deleting records, or running bulk imports, unless you've told it not to for a particular task. Finding records and running queries never changes anything.

When a job should run regularly, a Fabric AI job can run on a schedule, such as a weekly list of overdue invoices. The connection also includes the events New Record, New Or Updated Record and New Record (Saved Search), which can start an automation.

Connecting NetSuite also adds keyword search over your NetSuite records from Fabric's main search.
