Narrator: Here’s your first Lab Strategy. Next time you find yourself stuck, I want you to do a Signal Check.

Instead of saying "I'm lazy," ask: "Where is the signal dropping?"

  • Is it the Starter Motor? (I know what to do, but my brain won't send the signal to my hands to start).

  • Is it the Internal Clock? (I think I have 5 hours, but I actually have 5 minutes).

  • Is it the Map? (I have no idea what the first step is).

Narrator: When you name the "glitch," you take the power back. You stop being a "bad kid" and start being a "Technician" fixing a system.

Narrator: Your mission for this lesson: Pick one thing you struggled with today. Maybe it was getting out of bed, finishing a worksheet, or responding to a text.

On a sticky note, write down: "This isn't laziness. This is a lagging skill in [Task Initiation / Focus / Organization]."

Stick it somewhere you can see it. We have to rewire the narrative before we can rewire the brain.
