Microgreens on Hydroponic Shelf

Personal Hydroponic Microgreen Grow System

We believe that adding microgreens to your diet can add supplemental nutrition to achieve some of the effects of the previously mentioned diets. Microgreens have been shown to have anywhere from 10-40 times the amount of certain nutrients of the same healthy plants that you buy in the market. As an example, broccoli sprouts contain a cancer-fighting enzyme that allows you to consume a small number of microgreens to have the same effect as large servings of florets.

Your Kit Includes:

  • self-watering microgreen grow systems

  • Hydroponic grow mats

  • premeasured seed packets for each tray, all Non-GMO seeds

  • small personal spray unit for misting seeds

Using hydroponic kit:

  1. place one of the bamboo grow mats into the top tray with the wicks

  1. add 8 oz water to the bottom tray

  1. Add enough water to the top tray to wet the grow mat and allow excess water to drain into the bottom tray so the mat is wet but not pooling

  1. Take a seed packet and spread the seeds evenly on the mat, spray water or mist the seeds to start the germination process

  1. cut the microgreens near their roots from mat (harvest as much as needed) and place media back in tray until spent - plants will continue to grow w light and water available through our self-watering system

  1. compost or dispose of the mat (squeeze the mat to get rid of extra water) and remnant organics (compostable and biodegradable)
