WASHINGTON — The Federal Railroad Administration today published new rules on a variety of topics — ranging from horn-sounding requirements to virtual training for brake systems — as part of what the agency calls its first comprehensive “deregulatory sprint.”

The 10 rules published today in the Federal Register are among 57 the FRA says are removing redundant requirements and aligning federal
