Fabric Assistant can search the web for you – just ask it to check something, and it'll be able to fetch and analyze results from the web on your behalf.

This means that your queries are always up-to-date with the latest data, and combine the best of your Fabric filesystem and content on the web.

## How to get Assistant to search the web

For obvious queries – searching the web happens automatically, where Assistant knows that the information is likely not inside your Fabric.

* For example, the query: `"what is the weather in madrid today?"`

In other cases, it may be less obvious to Assistant, so you can simply ask it to search the web, and it will do so for you.
